Yup, I am your typically Pacific Northwestern. I love the outdoors and even worked at REI as a cashier and then at the returns desk. This was back when they took everything back so yes I might have returned your muddy wet hiking boots fresh from the trail (true story). I think a love of the outdoors is born into our blood out here. I am convinced that somehow I am part rain, salt water, moss, salmon, berries, hard cider, evergreens, and that unexplainable joy of hiking in the misty mountains. I did not really start hiking until college but since then I have explored Washington State and made several road trips around the US and Canada for some awesome hiking experiences.
